I have a full day at the office today followed by a business dinner at Quince, a Michelin-starred restaurant. I wanted to wear something comfortable for a full day of work but nice enough to belong in a fine dining establishment.
So I went with a stretchy jersey base layer in a combo dress. My particular dress is a few years old and is from Club Monaco, but it is very similar to the one pictured above. What’s nice about both mine and the one above is that the cotton in the blouse is polished, so it looks like a stretch silk knit.
Then I added some warm-neutral textures and a little bit of shine with my accessories. By the way, I’m loving my big 3.1 Phillip Lim bag lately! At first I thought it was too structured for my style, but leaving the gussets on the sides open makes it feel a little slouchier and more everyday.
