We’ve been experiencing some rainy days here in the Bay Area. Most people tell me that we need it. So I guess that’s good.

Anyways, I’ve been staying cozy in layers. Reading magazines. With bulldogs. It’s pretty much the best.

I’ve also been sporting this really fantastic tube from Harput’s (who I’ve talked about before. and before that). This is one of the latest things I’ve gotten from them. It’s a great little layering piece – really helps to hide the turkey and stuffing belly. The last time I was in the shop he had this piece in several different fabrics. I liked this slinky knit best because I thought it would be easier to layer over pants than something tighter. As with all of Gus’s original patterns, this one is highly versatile in the ways it can be worn. Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more configurations!
