The new HSN.com
The Home Shopping Network (HSN) recently launched a website redesign that seems to have touched most aspects of the site except for their product catalogue. The top-navigation of "Shop", "Brands", "Events" is an interesting reflection of their on-air programming, but the overall navigational design does not feel particularly simple. The visual approach, on the other hand, seems light and friendly and does a good job of using bold photography. Overall, it looks like a very positive improvement from a branding-perspective but seems a bit flabby from a functional-perspective.
